Selling Process

Look at your market and determine what vehicles you need to sell. If you need to move a set number of dollars instead, feel free to reach out to us to see what is moving fastest.

Reach out to us with invoices for the vehicles you need to move. Email them to michael@dealertrades.llc for the fastest review. We will also discuss what you want to sell the vehicles for, along with any accessories that need to be accounted for.

Once we find a new home for the vehicles, we will send a seller's agreement and condition report. Please note both the odometer reading and overall condition of vehicles so it can be documented for the purchaser. In some instances, we will also need copies of the front and back of the MSOs for each vehicle sold.

The purchasing dealer often pays via an overnighted check. When practical, the buying dealer may pay via a floorplan transfer and the selling dealer may need to pay the buyer any holdback that is due. Dealer Trades LLC's fees are paid by the purchasing dealer.

Remove vehicles from the retail display area while you wait for instructions from the carrier picking up the units. When the carrier arrives, help pull up the vehicles as needed and sign off the pick-up receipt.

It's important to keep your inventory up to date with the manufacturer so that your website and allocation are accurate. Not to mention, the buying dealer wants their inventory accurate as well! Once the units have been picked up, please transfer the VINs to the buying dealer.
